How to save the World?

Ishmael staes that in order to save the world you have to change the mind of others.

"Then here is the program: The story of Genisis must be revered. Firt. Cain must stop muredering Abel. This is essential if you're to survive. The leavers are the endangered species most critical to the world- not because the're humans but because they alone can show the destroyers of the world that there is no one right way to live. And ehten, of course you must spit out the friut of that forbidden tree. You must absolutly and forever relinquish the idea that you know who should live and who should die on this planet." (Quinn 248)

This quote show teh step in saving the world. This is how Ishmael descirbes saving the world, it maybe complex but when broekn up you will understand the task. First he explains that we have to stop Cain from murdering Abel, which means we need to stop killing those who live different than us. We need to stop killing the leavers jsut because the are herders and hunter-gatherers rather than agriculturalists. The leaver have to survive because they are endangered and they are the onlyones who can show us that we are destroying the world. They can also make us realize that ther is not right way to live. Then he says we have to spit out the fruit of the forbidden tree. We have to stop pretending that we know who shoulf love and who should die. We dont have tha kowledge to chioose who shall die on the planet. We need to throw away the thought of knowing that we do. This is Ishmaels interpretation on how to save the world.

To me the way we need to save the world is first put our minds up to the test. MOst peoplein the world dont care about saving the world or they just let the world go by how it is. They have no care because it isnt interfering with their lifestyle. If they go changing the world by buying a new hybrid car they wouldn't because they would have to spend money on buying a brand new car. But little do they know thats the least they can do to save the world. All they need to do are simple things like cahnging their mind set. Saving the world is aseries of little things to be done to the environment. We can recycle more, use less smog, less polution or even waste less resources. Peoplw use more than enough of the resources that is need to sutain the quality of life. The majority of the usage is used as a luxury rather than a necessity. Little things can do a lot to change the woprld and save the world for a better future.

QQC #1: I agree with what you have written so far. I also beleive it is a comparison to us humans and how if we dont do our share then we will fall. but could elaborate a little more?

Ishmael 2: This story is very interesting. Especiall when you come across we dont know how we were created and how by religon God made us and how by scientists we came from monkey. But maybe you could add a little more though into how man was created

QQC #2: I diasagree with you statement because the quote say this planet was the destined birth place for man. He is not saying that that the other lving things on the planet are have no purpose he only states that this planet is the destined brith place for man. In other words he this is whre man is suppose to be born, it doesn't mean others shouldn't have been born here

Interview: That was a very interesting interview and a points on the topic of global warming and the state of the planet. Very good responses and interesting dialogue.

QQC #3: This is a very interesting quote you chose and a very interseting respose because you say that if we want to change the world we need to rewrite history

How to save the World: I tis very interesting on your take of how to save the world. Yes i agree some thigs in the world are inevitable2. I also agree that we have choices in the world that make the world. We do have the free will and your take on how to save the world is very interesting.

QUOTE: He stared at me balefully from the shadows. "Go away," he snarled. "Just go away and leave me alone." I went away and left him alone.

QUESTION: Why would Ishmael act this way toward his pupil?

COMMENT: There are occasions were a friend like this acts this way. I can relate to this because I act this way sometimes when I don't really wanna talk about anything. I just want to be left alone. Some friends or other people act this way when they are sad, a tragedy happened or just want to be left alone for some reason. This act relates to how life and how us humans act when something happens or when we don't want to share what has happened to people even to our friends. There must have been a reason that Ishmael acts this way towards his pupil. It makes me wonder what goes on between the two of them then what goes on in Ishmael's mind because we cant read his mind. But the way Ishmael acts towards his student is as if something bad was going to happen or something bad has happened and he just wants to keep it in without telling anyone. Many people in the world today do things like this so they do not owrry others about their problems or anything to severe they cannot handle it.

QUOTE:You've killed off your competitors for the game, but your game has competitiors as well-competitors for the grasses. these are your compettitors once removned. kill them off and there'll be more grass for your game."

QUESTION: Once you kill every competitor off, then what?

COMMENT: I can relate to this because we see this very often in the world today. Whether it is with man or again with animals it is the same thing going on. If there is a competitor it is another target. If there is a competitor it is someone who is in your way from achieving your goal. This is what is seen in wars that break out. Wars start because of another country that is a potential competitor. If another country has nuclear weapons or better weapons they pose as a threat and a potential competitor. As posing as both a threat and competitor countires attempt to elimnate them. That is one reason wars are waged. We eliminate competitors because we dont want any competitors.

Interview

Christian: Hi How are you doing today?
Anonymous: I’m doing well.
Christian: Can I ask you a few questions for this assignment I am doing for one of my classes?
Anonymous: Alright sure.
Christian: What are your thoughts on world hunger?
Anonymous: I think it is a problem that must be solved.
Christian: Why do you think this world situation is a problem?
Anonymous: People are starving; they don’t have any or very little food to eat.
Christian: What are some solutions that come to mind about this problem?
Anonymous: Trying to have others to donate even in small amounts to the cause. Small amounts but large number of people donating will make a difference.
Christian: Do you think there can be more than just donating to solve world hunger?
Anonymous: Trying to educate and inform people about this cause all around the world. Showing others how important this cause is as any other world problem.
Christian: Do you think what is being done now is enough?
Anonymous: No, because there is still problems going on.
Christian: Can you elaborate?
Anonymous: There are still people starving around the world and there are still a good amount of people who are still clueless about this problem. That is why I think there could still be more done or added to solve this problem.
Christian: Do you think if others are aware they will contribute to the cause?
Anonymous: Not necessarily.
Christian: Why so?
Anonymous: Because I am aware but even I do not contribute or donate to solve this problem. Even if people are aware it doesn’t mean they will contribute. They may know what is going on but they don’t know how to help or they feel they have no time to help.

QUOTE: " Do you see the slightest evidence that anywhere in the universe that creation came to an end with the birth of man? Do you see the slightest evidence anywhere where man was the climax toward which creation had been straining from the beginning?"

QUESTION: Did creation really end with the birth of man?

COMMENT: I have to agree with the quote that there is no evidence that the birth of man was the end of creation. Creation still goes on everywhere today. There is evidence that certain creations came to an end, it is what we call extinction. When one species or race slowly dies out and only few remain until none remain thus the definition of extinction. But the birth of man was not the cause for extinction. There is no evidence that shows the birth of man cause a halt in creation all over the world. There is still creation today. Many other species are being created. Just because the birth of man doesn't mean there was a halt in the creation cycle. Many breeds of dogs, species of plant, species of fish are be discovered or further evolving. Then a new breed or species is created more creation takes place showing the because the birth of man did not end the worlds creation.

The Story of Man?

The story of man is truly a story to be told many different ways. Each story told is different from another, it has no same characters, no same explananation but one thing in common is it tries to answer the same question, how did man arrive? What was the star of human life? In this story i will attempt to answer this question.

Life began everywhere. Every where there was life. As life grew many evolved. Monkys began to walk upright and soon began to further evolve into earlier states of what we are today. Soon us humans became fully evolved and we then took a big leap and entered the big picture. But it was not easy getting around to who we are today. Years and years before we were not all what we are today we were quite uncivlized. We would beat things with rocks, we would have no thought of hygene or even how too cook food we just ate whatever we saw. But as we grew we learned and as we learned we evolved. We began to put the newly learned knowledge to use. We made fire to cook our food and to burn others for fun. We invented the wheel out of rock for a paper weight and put it to better use later on. This made us grown in our intelectual minds. Growth in mind helped us change our apperance we began to dress differently. Then soon we began working, disliking our job, hating our boss and so fourth. As young we go to school, we learn what was taught to others over and over again. as we get older we change yet again learning more and gaining more expirience. Worries such as acne tests and who am I taking to prom would occur through the years of teens. But growing and evolving life goes on, new inventions, new people to encounter, journeying the world or just diong nothing at all. Life goes on but it was evolution which brought us to where we are today. because we have adapted evolved and made our lives better for the next generation. Then soon the next generation repeats the process of life giong through same things the others had done before. and its a cycle that will continue
